North Wales
North Wales is easily accessible from Churton Heath Farm. The Cambrian Hills form the geographic border to the Cheshire Plain, and are a really impressive landscape. Excellent walking and sight-seeing country is just half-an-hour away.
Llandudno
The classic Victorian resort of Llandudno – purpose-built by a 19th century developer – is just over an hour away by the A55 Expressway. The Great Orme head, with terrific views across to Lancashire and Scotland is home to a herd of wild goats, who today guard the Bronze Age copper mines.
Snowdonia
Snowdon is a little further, but still easily reached as a day trip. The famous railway will take you all the way to the top! You can get to Snowdon along the A55 dual carriageway and come back along the scenic route through Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig.
