Things to see and do

There are lots of things to see and do around Churton Heath Farm. Click on one of the links below to find out more - or take a look at our virtual guide to What's On In Chester & Cheshire

Getting around – for those used to urban traffic, the roads in Cheshire are relatively quiet and traffic-free – so you can drive a long way in a short time. Liverpool is only 30 minutes away, and Manchester is about 45 minutes. North Wales is easily accessible along the A55 Expressway - so Llandudno, Anglesey and Snowdonia are all within easy distances.

There is a good park-and-ride scheme in Chester (ask us for details) – this is useful, as parking in the city centre can sometimes be difficult at weekends and during race meetings. Chester Railway Station has links into North Wales, the Wirral and Liverpool, and the rest of Cheshire. There is a bus service to and from Chester which runs regularly (mostly hourly) from outside the farm – see our Guest Information Pack for details.
