Monday, January 14, 2008 at 04:12PM We have been upgraded to 4 Star Gold, which we are really thrilled about. So let's hope we manage to keep up our high standards! We had a lovely Christmas, the boys had a great time and really appreciated all their presents. Work has started on our new kitchen, which I am very excited about, and I would just like to take this opportunity of wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year!
Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 01:00PM Jim and I are thrilled - we were awarded "Highly Commended", (ie runner up) in the Northwest Tourism Awards in Manchester last night, in the Bed and Breakfast category - amazing! So those of you who might be thinking about booking, please do, and hopefully you won't be disappointed!!
Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 02:43PM We are in the final for the Best Bed and Breakfast in the North West Tourism Awards, which takes place on 10th October in Manchester. As we have already been "mystery shopped" and I was not really aware of who they were (although I have my suspicions!), all will be in the hands of the Gods! I think we are in the final four in this category, so fingers (and everything else!) crossed!! We have had a busy first year, and have made one or two small improvements to the rooms, adding small fridges (so that you can cool your own wine!), and also some super new bathroom products called REN, which are absoluately wonderful (all chemical free!). Win or not on the 10th, I still feel that we offer our guests something which I hope is second to none!!
Monday, August 20, 2007 at 07:25PM I can't believe that it is nearly a year since we opened, and we certainly have been busy!! It's been great, hard work, but very rewarding. We as a family have just returned from a fortnight in Anglesey (weather very mixed), mind you, you don't go on holiday in England in search of good weather!! The boys have had a lovely time, and Treacle and Biscuit enjoyed swimming in the sea! I can honestly say that my first year of running a Bed and Breakfast has been great fun and very rewarding! We look forward to meeting you all soon.
Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at 07:42PM Well it certainly has been raining in Cheshire. We are all getting really fed up with the weather, but all our visitors seemed to have been very good humoured about it! Jim is getting very worried about the cattle, and we might even have to bring them inside soon - not great in the middle of the so called Summer!! We have had lots of people coming to stay at Churton Heath Farm recently, all who seemed to have really enjoyed themselves, and we seem to have a busy July ahead of us, which is great! To all those who are thinking of booking, please do, and and to all those who have already stayed with us, we have enjoyed having you, and hopefully look forward to seeing you again soon!
